Local Art & Universal Appeal
Since its inception in 2001, the 2-mile corridor along Route 1 known as the Gateway Arts District has developed into a rejuvenated enclave full of eclectic shops, galleries, restaurants, and entertainment. We’re excited to provide local artists a place to showcase their work and a community that supports them through exhibits, markets, events, and advertising.
miXt Art Gallery

LIME life in My Eyes
Richard Jackson
My art is rooted in storytelling, but not in a way that is clean or straight forward. Instead, I focus on teh chaos – how society feels like it is breaking apart, how we are disconnected from nature, and how power and media shape who we are.
miXt Food Hall’s rotating art exhibition spaces have an open call for local artists to submit their work for consideration. Please contact John Paradiso, Curator of Programs at Portico Gallery & Studios, at portico3807@gmail.com and include a link to your website.
